Kalamantina is a grassroots initiative founded by Palestinians in the diaspora who could no longer stand by in silence as Gaza suffers under the weight of ongoing violence, displacement, and humanitarian crisis. Born from heartbreak but grounded in hope and action, our mission is to support the people of Gaza with urgent necessities and long-term care.
We focus on **crowdfunding life-saving aid**; including food, clean water, clothing, and medical supplies. We’re actively working toward providing essential mental health support through access to therapists and well-being programs. Through a trusted network of distributors on the ground in Gaza, we ensure that every donation goes where it's most needed, directly into the hands of the people.
Kalamantina is not just about aid—it’s about solidarity. We partner with and amplify existing local organizations, while laying the groundwork to establish our own independent team within Gaza in the near future.
We are currently in the process of becoming a fully tax-exempt nonprofit to maximize transparency, accountability, and impact. Our name, Kalamantina, is a symbol of rootedness, resilience, and the enduring connection to our homeland; we invite all who care about justice and humanity to join us.
Together, we can show Gaza that it is not forgotten.
